April Fool’s Day 2023 was certainly a day to remember. I was in a serious t-bone accident being hit by a tractor trailer. After months of PT and shoulder surgery I am blessed to have survived such an event which totaled my car and could have been so much worse. I am thankful for David and Joni who walked me through this process and happy I did not have to handle on my own. Nagle and Associates met all of my expectations.

Carl Nagle is a fantastic lawyer and I highly recommend his firm. I was in a severe collision involving my pick up truck and a tractor trailer on the freeway. It was a contested liability case, and my claims were initially denied. Carl took charge of the investigation, and Paul (a former State Trooper who works with Carl) spoke with the State Trooper, took a black box download, proved I was innocent, and compelled the truck driver’s insurance company to accept liability. Two years ago I had a horrible accident that could easily have ended my life. While traveling at about 70 mph on the new Hwy. 70 bypass around Goldsboro, NC on an interstate style highway at 3:20 pm I saw a vehicle that just went around a curve, thus limiting its sight, coming straight toward me on the wrong side of the highway. I swerved but was hit on my left rear wheel well. The impact knocked the entire wheel off of my car and sent me spinning like I was on a Tilt-a-Whirl. Four vehicles were totaled in that accident. When I found out that the drunk driver had the same insurance company that I had, I decided to hire an attorney to represent me. A few days after the accident I got a very professionally prepared package in the mail from Nagle & Associates. The information in it was very helpful. I also received unsolicited packages from other attorneys but they were not as impressive. I also noted that Nagle & Associates would only retain 25% of the settlement if it was settled out of court, with a slightly higher fee if it had to go to court. I decided to schedule an appointment with the Raleigh, NC office and was very impressed with the attorney with whom I spoke, so I hired them to represent me. I found the entire staff to be very helpful and professional throughout the process. They took care of all contact with my insurance company and handled all payments to the EMS, hospital, Medicare, etc. after the case was settled. I was also pleased with the settlement they negotiated with my insurance company. The process took two years, but I've found out from friends who have had similar accidents that two years is not uncommon for such cases. They don't advertise on TV and thus keep their rates low. They are a relatively small firm and only handle major automobile accidents, so they have extensive experience with such litigation. Based on my experience with Nagle & Associates I highly recommend them.
