Monroe Accident Takes Life of Teen Girl
The wreck occurred on US 601 on Tuesday at about 5:30 PM. The girl, Mackenzie Whiteley, driving a Honda Accord, apparently went over the center line into opposing traffic and collided head-on with a Ford pickup driven by Roosevelt Nives. Both drivers were taken to CMC for treatment of their personal injuries. Ms. Whiteley died on Wednesday. For more info go to:
