HIGH POINT, N.C. - A fatal pedestrian accident occurred in High Point over the July 4 holiday.  A man's body was found lying near the junction of Deep River Road and Summit Road in High Point at approximately 2 a.m. on the morning of July 4, 2012. The body was identified as Ronnie Davis, who appeared to have been hit by at least one vehicle and died of his injuries. The authorities were able to identify the vehicle involved as belonging to Nicholas Fleming, who was charged with felony death by motor vehicle and felony hit and run and driving while impaired.
