GREENSBORO, NC - A single vehicle accident on a curve on Lineberry Road near midnight on Thursday, June 14, took the life of the driver, Katelyn Lynch, and caused personal injuries to the 4 passengers. Ms. Lynch was driving her Toyota SUV eastbound, ran off the road, corrected back onto the road, the vehicle then flipped and rolled over a number of times. Ms Lynch was thrown from the SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 4 passengers, Ashley Adams, Joe Ingold, Joshua Greene and Tyler Adams, were all transported to Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC for treatment of their injuries. The ages of the victims ranged from 15 to 18 years of age. Alcohol and speed are suspected to have contributed to the accident. Investigation of the wreck by Greensboro police is continuing.
