A fatal car accident occurred in Cary, North Carolina at approximately 10 am on Sunday February 12, 2012.  The collision occurred on SW Cary Parkway in Cary, NC when a 2001 Saturn driven by Martikia Adams of Raleigh attempted a left turn across opposing traffic lanes and an approaching 2011 Dodge automobile driven by Megan Slaydek of Apex NC collided into the passenger side of Ms. Adams' car.  According to the investigating officer's Police Report, Ms. Slaydek was traveling approximately 52 mph at impact, in a 45 mph speed zone. 

The two car accident resulted in death to the guest passenger in the Saturn, Mr. Brian Christopher Cobb of Cary, NC.  The wrongful death claims of this passenger may be available against both drivers, as the vehicle that was cut off was shown as speeding by the incident report on public file.  The incident occurred as Martikia Adams was driving her passenger to his job at a Cary Jiffy Lube.  Beyond the fatality of the guest passenger, both drivers suffered accident related personal injury.
